LCC Schools’ Festival

The 2026 LCC Schools’ Festival will welcome over 1,000 children from the CSC Schools’ Programme to the London Chess Classic for a day of fun chess activities. These will include:

• chess lessons from CSC tutors

• simultaneous games against chess masters

• the chance to meet and play a game against a chess grandmaster

• tournaments against their peers from across the country.

Through this programme, CSC runs weekly curriculum lessons and chess clubs in over 400 schools around the country. To find out more about the work of CSC in schools, please visit our website here.
