ProBiz Cup

The ProBiz Cup saw the ten grandmasters from the 2025 XTX Markets London Chess Classic plus some specially invited guests pairing up with leaders from business for a fun, but very competitive team tournament. Amateurs and professionals met on the morning of the event and had one hour to prepare together before the action began. Each team then played three rounds of rapidplay chess, with the players taking alternate moves. No consultation was allowed but each team could call two one-minute time-outs to confer about the game.

All money raised went towards supporting the work of Chess in Schools and Communities.

This year’s ProBiz Cup was won by GM Abhimanyu Mishra & Bodhana Sivanandam.
