Play chess at the London Chess Classic Festival

** Entry to all the events below opens from this page at 12pm on Wednesday 2nd September **

The 2026 LCC Festival will give players of all standards the chance to compete in chess events. These will include:

• a Super Rapid tournament offering players the chance to compete with our elite grandmasters

• a 9-round LCC Swiss suitable for players seeking title norms (ELO 2000+)

• Weekend and Weekday 5-round tournaments with rating sections (classical chess)

• Evening Blitz Tournaments

• a Team Blitz competition

All competitors can also spectate on the Masters and Challengers events of the 2026 XTX Markets London Chess Classic and/or listen to the live grandmaster commentary once their own games have finished, at no extra charge.
