Team up with world’s best chess players for an opportunity of a lifetime

Hosted by DeepMind at Google HQ in King’s Cross

As part of the 9th London Chess Classic, the Pro-Biz Cup brings leading business minds and the world’s leading Grandmasters together in a fun tournament to raise money for the UK charity Chess in Schools and Communities (CSC).

You, and your business, have the opportunity to team up with one of the world’s greatest players. World Champion Magnus Carlsen, former World Champion Vishy Anand, super Grandmasters Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, Levon Aronian, Fabiano Caruana, Hikaru Nakamura, Wesley So, Sergey Karjakin, all in the world’s top 10 will play and former World Champion Garry Kasparov who has recently returned to competitive chess, is also taking part.

The Pro-Biz event is taking place on Thursday 30th November 2017. It is being hosted by DeepMind in the spectacular surrounds of Google’s UK headquarters in King’s Cross, which is where the first round of the London Chess Classic, part of the Grand Chess Tour, will also be held on Friday 1st December.

You will meet your Grandmaster partner prior to the first game for a photo shoot and strategy meeting. You and your partner will make alternate moves as you take on other GM-Amateur pairings in a rapid chess format. You will be guaranteed a minimum of two matches. Demis Hassabis, Co-Founder of leading artificial intelligence company DeepMind, is the first amateur player confirmed and he is partnered with England number 1 GM Michael Adams. See previous Pro-Biz Cup here.
